What happens to data when you use this site

Last updated 2026-11-03. This policy is for bestpapershredders.com and its brand subdomains.

Reaching a human

Questions about anything on this page go to [email protected]. That address is the only contact channel we run. We do not have a phone line, a chat window, or a support form.

Server logs kept for security

Our host records standard request data, such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, so we can spot abuse and keep the site running. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting, not to build a profile of you or to sell to anyone.

Catalog picker storage stays in your browser

The picker that filters shredders by cut type, security level, or run time saves your choices in your browser's localStorage. That data sits on your device. It is not sent to our servers, and clearing your browser storage erases it.

California residents and CCPA

We do not sell personal information. If you are a California resident and want to know what we hold or want it deleted, email [email protected] and we will act on the request. In practice we hold very little beyond server logs and whatever you write to us.

Children and this site

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us something, write to [email protected] and we will remove it.

Asking us to delete something

Send a deletion request to [email protected] with enough detail for us to find the record, such as the email address you used. We will confirm once it is removed, unless we are required to keep it for a legal reason.

Visit counts

This site loads Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are opened. A short notice on the site explains that. Google’s own policy covers that processing. We do not receive your name from it.
